Gurmaar (GymnemaHindi name of Gurmar literally means “destroyer of sugar”. It helps to maintain healthy metabolism and supports the absorption of carbohydrates. This also aids to maintain healthy pancreatic function. On the other hand, in several studies it has been found that Gurmaar contains the gymnemic acids which is responsible for the anti-diabetic effects.

Karela (Bitter Gourd) A wonderful fruit/herb that can be used as food or medicine. This contains at least three bioactive compounds named as charatin, vicine and momordicin with blood sugar lowering properties.  Seeds of bitter gourd contain insulin like compound known as polypeptide –P that is quite good to lower down the blood sugar levels.  It has wonderful blood-purifying actions which help to clear the toxins from body.
